VOLUNTEER
We’re very grateful for those who have a heart for rescue horses and are willing to join our dedicated team of volunteers! Volunteers are needed in many different areas and there’s always plenty to do!
During scheduled Volunteer Days, (typically scheduled on Saturdays,) the day usually consists of chores such as, barn cleaning, mucking stalls and paddocks, cleaning and filling water troughs, grooming horses, organizing/cleaning grooming tools, tack and buckets. We’re also in need of volunteers who are willing to come out during the week to help with feeding and exercising horses.
While no equine experience is required to volunteer, volunteers who have an interest in helping with feeding, exercising horses or assisting with workshops, sessions and camps, will be required to go through training.
Volunteering is not limited to on-site sanctuary work; we also have opportunities for those who have an interest to serve in other areas. We currently need; volunteers with media and marketing experience, grant writers, help with event planning and those with experience in securing sponsorships. We’re also looking for team leaders who have an interest in helping oversee projects and volunteers.
You must be 12 years or older to volunteer and anyone under the age of 15 must be supervised by an experienced volunteer. Applications and waivers must be completed and signed BEFORE volunteering.

We are a non-profit, faith-based sanctuary founded on the same Christian values our nation was built upon. The founders, Board of Directors and Session Leaders all believe in God and the saving grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and demonstrate the love of Christ and the relationship He desires to have with each of us. We believe that the best way we can show God's love is to put our faith into action by serving and loving people well.
